This takes place at the Park Pavillion, Barrack Lane, Harwich
Students will not need to bring a ticket with them they will be registered when they enter.
We have an official road closure from 4.00pm.
Barriers will be up along the road to keep everyone safe. Please help us by staying behind these.
Arrivals from no earlier than 5.30pm. Please approach from the Barrack road end with the Park Pavilion on the left hand side (Including those that walk).
Vehicles will be admitted to the drop off area one at a time. Please be patient when in line as we have 156 students attending the event.
Students will arrive, walk the long red carpet, have a group photo taken at the end of it and then enter the Park Pavillion for their individual photo. They will then be directed out the other door to join friends and family in the Mayor’s Garden. At this time they will receive a small stamp which will be needed to re enter the venue.
Last arrival no later than 6.45pm.
Students will be asked to come in to the venue at 7/7.15pm with the event finishing at 11.00pm.
Once a student decides to leave the building they will not be allowed to re enter.
Strictly no smoking or vaping. Anyone seen doing this will be asked to leave.
Strictly no alcohol.
Soft drinks for the students are included so they will not need to bring cash.
We have learned from past experiences that most of the food that is paid for is wasted so this year we have gone for sweets, a donut wall and chocolate fountain.
Any poor behaviour which jeopardises this or future prom events will result in the student being removed.
We hope that all students enjoy the event and wish them all the best for the future.
