Say Yes to the Prom Dress

Dear Year 11 Parents/Carers,

We are writing to advise you Say Yes to the Prom Dress is running at Stanway School this year. With the help of friends and family of the school and the power of social media, they have had over 200 dresses, suits and accessories donated to them (some new and some preloved). Now they have accumulated a selection of dresses and suits in various styles and sizes that are in excellent condition, they are able to offer these to students across the Sigma Trust to borrow for their special day.

There will be no charge for the use of the dress/suit, however they would suggest a small donation of £15 to cover cleaning costs and to ensure they can run this program for years to come.

Open events are planned to give students the opportunity to have a browse and try on a selection of the dresses/suits at The Stanway School in their Sports Hall as follows:

Students from all of Sigma Schools are invited and can bring family or friends with them to help them decide.

Mrs Barker and Miss Taylor are the Stanway School staff running this event.
