Firstly Happy New Year and welcome back to the Spring Term!
As your child will know from assemblies in the first week of term, we have discussed how important attendance is to your child’s school success.
Attached to this message you will find a graph which highlights the impact that good attendance can have on a student’s education. Even a student with ‘good’ attendance of 97%, will have missed 20 lessons of education. It is vital that your child attends school regularly in order to achieve their potential.
Moving forward I hope your child is able to achieve a great level of attendance this term, it really does have a positive impact on your child’s time at school and the outcomes they can achieve. If you ever have concerns regarding your child’s attendance please speak to our Attendance Officer Mrs Dunkley or one of the Year Team members who are always available to support you.
