Letter from the Headteacher to Year 11 Parents and Carers

Letter from the Headteacher to Year 11 Parents and Carers
January 10, 2023 Belinda Gosling

Dear Parent/Carer,

The final day of last term was very useful for Year 11.  Your child has no doubt shown you the mock ‘results’ letter they received – setting out to emulate how the actual results day in August will feel – with the added advantage at this time of being able to further improve upon the results received.  Your child should already have a revision plan in place, but if they haven’t, a suitable New Year’s resolution is to draw up a revision plan and get going with it!  Tutors and teachers will support with this and please do not hesitate to make contact if you would like a  reminder of how to support this at home.  I cannot stress enough how fast the next few months will whizz past and before we know it, it will be time for the prom!
Please ask your child about the other activities that took place on the last day of term involving outside agencies such as the Army supporting with resilience training.
Please can I remind you of the Ofsted Parent View Survey which I would be very grateful for you to complete.
If you have any queries at all regarding your child’s performance in the PPEs, how to help them at home with their studies or how to complete their 6th Form applications, please contact the year team or their tutor – email is the best way as it will usually get the quickest response.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Finch
Headteacher
