Pupils from Year 10 enjoyed a day of student leadership training this month. Selected for their leadership potential, pupils were taught skills of planning, delegation, motivation, decision making and team-management. Head of Stanway Learning federation Phil Jones who delivered the day was highly complimentary about our pupils saying they all showed many of the skills required to be an excellent leader. Pupils enjoyed the wide variety of activities and the opportunity to explore what leadership really means and what makes a great leader.
We hope that all the pupils involved will go on to use what they have learned throughout the rest of their time in education and on into later life.
