The Year 11 boys travelled to CCA and started the game very slowly being 3-0 inside the opening 10 minutes. Some poor defending and bad decision making contributed to this but credit must go to every player for rolling their sleeves up and battling after.
By half time the score was 3-2 after great goals from Aidan and Trevor. It could have been all square at the break had Trevor’s second effort not been ruled out for offside. The second half was even again with CCA adding two goals to the score line that probably were not deserved. One was a foul that the referee admitted he got wrong after the game and the other an own goal. Overall great credit goes to all 13 that travelled and we move onto Manningtree at home next week.
