On Tuesday, 19th January, NEEEP will be holding their Annual Debate competition in the Stanway school in Colchester. HDHS will once again be sending our debate squad to compete in the event. It is a fantastic event where students across the 8 NEEEP schools impressively share their own ideas and confidently argue their viewpoints in a very tense and pressurised environment. Our debate squad this year are mainly KS3 students and though young in age, they have impressed in the maturity of their ideas and delivery. They have been excellently coached this year by Miss Harding and Miss Keogh and are gaining in competition experience. The future of HDHS debating is in safe hands! We wish the squad the best of luck on Tuesday.You are all winners for putting yourself forward for this event. Enjoy the experience and do yourselves proud!
