We are receiving reports that some of our students are befriending or are receiving requests from persons not personally known. These are taking place over a variety of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and ooVoo. Please support the work of the school by reminding your child(ren) of the dangers of accepting friendships from people or accounts they do not personally know. We would encourage you to have open dialogue to help police this and to remain vigilant over your child(ren)’s electronic activities. With Christmas approaching and all sorts of smart devices likely to feature on wish lists, helping us to support your child(ren)’s e-safety from abuse, exploitation, extremism and poor health remains an important priority.
