Harwich and Dovercourt High School U14 Hockey team travelled to Colne Community College on 6th October. Harwich’s 6 players were met by a 13 aside opposition. Louis Nicholson, Gabby Williams, Rem’a Eagle, Lucy Henshall, Miah Reynolds were supported by sixth former Emma Joslin who all upped their game due to the missing few who were taking part in the Harwich and Dovercourt High School football fixture. Gabby and Louis soon found a good relationship upfront providing ample opportunity on goal, being denied by the superb young Colne goal keeper. With Rem’a’s hunger for goal he showed great stamina throughout the game. John Brown has proven his commitment to training and has benefited his performance. Lucy dominated her team in defence. Thanks to Colne who provided two supporting players for Harwich. Players of the match were Miah Reynolds receiving 1 point, Lucy Henshall, 2 points and John Brown secured the 3 sports personality points.
