The year 7’s played their second game in successive days. Today we were in Ipswich for an all schools game. The format was 9 a side so a rotation system was in place to accommodate all 16 players.The boys won all of the games against the same school with tries coming from Ioan Woodward, Harvey Bennett and Harry Pitham. The man of the match performance was Alex Ashworth scoring a hat trick of tries in the first game and having a huge impact on all of the other games. All of the boys have shown huge progression since their first game in particular Jenson Adams, Lucas Low, Joe Henderson and Cameron Burgeman.
Year 8 Match
Harwich and Dovercourt High School 9 – Northgate High 8
Year 8’s played well and I would like to thank every one in the team for their effort. If I could I would give every one man of the match but especially to the try scorers Mitch Smith 2, Jack James 3, Sam Cooke 3 and Harvey Smith with 1. Everyone played really well and are very confident going into our next game. Our three men of the match were Will Miler, Charlie Brough, and Jay Ayling.
