Following the overwhelming success of last term’s ‘Drop Everything And Read’ day, it has been decided to incorporate the activity into all lessons once per half-term.
This will mean that for D.E.A.R. days students in every year group will be expected to bring their own reading material into school – a book, magazine or newspaper for example.
The next D.E.A.R. day will be Monday 15th June. Time will be given in all subject lessons that day for ten-minute reading activities to… take place. Please remind your son or daughter to be equipped for such activities.
Details of D.E.A.R. days throughout the next academic year will be available in September. Thank you for your support.
