To tie in with the General Election, HDHS library is holding a ‘Book Character Election’, where pupils will have the opportunity to vote for one of the six contemporary literary figures (candidates) shortlisted. The characters have been selected based on the amount of school library loans of the books they feature in. Voting will take place at break and lunchtime on Thursday 7th May, in the library.
