Sixth Form News

We are pleased to report that we have appointed a Lead Teacher for Psychology, starting in September. Emma Stubbs is so keen to work with us that she is relocating from Derbyshire. She was an excellent candidate and we feel sure that she will make a good job of reintroducing Psychology to our Sixth Form.

The Sixth Form committee continues to organise fundraising for end-of-year events. Some examples of the activities include an Easter Egg hunt in the grounds of the Grange, and a FIFA computer game tournament.

Look out for teachers’ karaoke later this term!

The Golf Club has agreed to host the Leavers’ Ball and we will soon be meeting the chef to discuss the menu. We are also beginning to consider our procedure for choosing Head Students and a committee for next year. The interest has been superb, and we are excited by the talented individuals hoping to continue the sterling work of this year’s committee.

We have just had the latest in our series of quizzes to raise funds for the Thailand Expedition. Students continue to chip away at the target and we are all very excited about the departure on 1st July.
