Dear Year 11 parents/ carers and students,

In readiness for your next steps, we have put together a list of some of the local colleges and information about their open evenings.  These typically begin in October and we encourage you to attend as many as possible, and apply early! Often applications “open” in October and some will close by January 2025 so make sure you check their websites for more information.

The Sigma Sixth Tendring Open Event is Thursday October 10th 2024, and there is a direct, subsidised, bus from Harwich to the college daily. Some of the HDHS staff travel across to deliver Level 3 qualifications at this site, and we have a large proportion of our students already attending the Sigma Sixth college.
