HDHS will be holding a fun Year 7 Careers event on Wednesday 26th June 2019.
We believe that students from a young age, should be provided with the key knowledge and skills required for future employment. During the year we run PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education), Citizenship and Careers events where students are off their normal timetable to attend talks and activities relating to these subjects.
This event will provide students with the opportunity to take part in fun activities while learning key skills and knowledge about careers, including:
- Employment opportunities.
- Personal qualities required for employment.
- How educational subjects link to various job roles.
- Core communication and teamwork skills.
