Yesterday a group of Year 10 students travelled to the Theatre Royal, Norwich, to watch William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.
This was a fantastic opportunity for students to view a modern version of the tragedy, a key text for their GCSE’s. Whilst being an enjoyable experience, it also helped them to understand the stagecraft of Romeo and Juliet as well as develop their understanding of the key themes, events and character relationships further.
