- The newly formed Windsor learning community “Smile” team have taken part in their first project to make people smile
- The team (put together from Years 7,8 and 9 tutor groups) aim to work and help people in our local Harwich and Dovercourt community as well as leading the drive on supporting our chosen charity “Essex Air Ambulance”
- The focus this time was aimed further afield with students filling shoe boxes with gifts as part of “Operation Christmas child”
- The students in Windsor Years 7,8 and 9 showed incredible empathy and generosity towards the young people in Africa bringing in a variety of gifts to fill the shoe boxes.
- Starting off with 6 boxes the final amount that was donated by the amazing Windsor students was 21.
- If you think the Windsor Smile team could help with local projects you are involved in please contact Paul Day at the Harwich and Dovercourt High School (paul.day@harwich.essex.sch.uk)
