Harwich came flying out of the blocks and went one up after a great through ball from Cameron Brunsden which was chased down by Alex Ashworth and he cooling clipped the ball over the advancing keeper.
For the next 20 minutes TTC had the majority of the play but great last ditch defending by Tom Newland and good goal keeping from Matt Morgan kept TTC to long range chances.
On the counter Alex Ashworth struck the post as Harwich looked to increase their lead before the break.
Second half started with Harwich on the front foot and they doubled their lead 10 minutes into the half when Cameron Brunsden followed up a flowing move to side foot home from 8 yards.
The remainder of the half was spent with TTC controlling the play and dominating the ball but they couldn’t find a way through a well drilled Harwich side.
Overall a great team effort from all involved and a good in against strong opponents.
