Last term Mrs McCullough worked with a representative at Essex County Council to get students from our school elected to the Young Essex Assembly, a student version of Essex County Council. Nine students originally showed an interest in this and attended a meeting to find out more.
Before Christmas voting took place in school and Taylor Whingham heard the news at the beginning of this term that she had been elected. It was great to see this article about her not just representing the school and the local area at the Essex Assembly but she obviously made a fantastic impression at the first meeting to be elected to the Uk Youth Parliament.
